Vidio is best known for its quiz, animal farm and wrestling rankings — but it is also a video platform. The Creator hub is where people in Uganda and across Africa share videos, get discovered, build a following and earn Creator XP and UGX from real views. This guide explains the whole section from start to finish.
The Creator hub is Vidio's video section. Anyone can watch, like, save and share videos, and follow the creators they enjoy. If you make videos, you can submit them to the hub and build a channel with your own profile page, followers and earnings dashboard.
Your videos stay on YouTube, TikTok, Dailymotion or Rumble. Vidio only links to them and plays them inside the app, so you keep full ownership of your content and your original channel keeps growing too.
You don't need to be a creator to use the hub. Open the Creator tab and you'll find:
You can search for creators and videos, and on any video page you can like, save, share and jump to the "Up next" row.
Videos are normal landscape uploads and show up in Trending and the main feed. Shorts are vertical clips with their own shelf and player. Premieres let you schedule a video so it goes live for everyone at the same moment, with a countdown for viewers. A video marked Live shows a red Live badge and can't be played until its scheduled start time.
Your channel earns Creator XP from real activity: new followers, likes and counted views. Creator XP is separate from Quiz XP, so building a channel is its own path on Vidio. The XP amounts are set by Vidio and can change.
To keep numbers honest, a view is counted only after someone has watched for a short time with the tab open, and one viewer can add only a limited number of counted views per video each day. Follows and views are also checked for fraud, and flagged activity is reviewed by an administrator before it can count.
Your Creator Dashboard shows XP, views, likes, new fans and earnings over 7 days, 30 days, one year or lifetime, plus earnings for each video. Creator earnings go into your Vidio wallet as a "Creator" entry and are paid out together with your other earnings. Rates, minimums and pool sizes are set by Vidio and can change at any time, and submitting a video never guarantees a reward.
Creator earnings sit alongside Quiz, Wrestling, Farming and leaderboard prizes in one wallet, each tagged by source. You can earn from videos, answer quiz questions, tend your animal farm and climb the leaderboard — all from a single account. See How It Works for the payout schedule.
